Artistes Wanted

A Message To All Artistes

We currently require unsigned artistes, performers and writers for our radio shows in Spain and future promotional campaigns. Our network includes a widerange of podcasts, radio programmes in the UK and Spain and many public and subscription-based online showcases.

Stage One of our new promotion is the search for podsafe music, that is, music we can use in our podcasts. Although not essential, we encourage all artistes to have at least one track on offer to podcasters to maximise exposure and generate new interest in your work.

We are also currently studying the economic viability of setting up a new pop music station here in central Spain and the possibilities of bringing artistes over here from the UK to perform at local venues.

There are big and exciting opportunities ahead for all unsigned artistes associated with our radio project and we very much look forward to working with all of you thathave contacted us in future ventures.

As well as producig our own content we also commission work. In addition to live acts for local venues we are also looking for wannabe presenters to submit their own audio and video packages for us to broadcast here in Spain and online. Experience is not that big an issue for us as the submissions we use are always judged on their own merits.

An artiste can have ten years worth of training, qualifications and experience in singing, dancing and TV presentation, but if their demo tape or showreal is poor, they won't get the part.

Although always impressed with the background of an artiste, in terms of how it shows character, dedication and determination, we are far more concerned with what an artiste is doing now, what they've recently done and what they realistically plan to do in the very near future.

Your background can be used to boost your chances of success, but the lack of one should never hold a person back!

Our radio project is a big supporter of unsigned talent and as long as you wish to be associated with our programme we will do all that we can to use our network to promote you and help you establish a permanent footing in the media industry.

Having been part of the struggle to find lasting work in the Liverpool media industry, we understand how difficult it is for artistes to find employment in their chosen field and to resist the temptation to leave the city for the bright lights of the nearest media city.

If there is anything we can do to help you once you've joined us please don't hesitate to contact us.

Best wishes and good luck with all future projects,

English Radio Project team
